Howdy!

I’m Piermario Orecchioni, I live near Olbia, on the island of Sardinia, Italy, but I work everywhere.

I started building websites back in 2001, when this was not my main gig yet.

Piermario web designer HappierWeb

I created HappierWeb after years of white-label work and collaborations with other agencies, with the goal of giving our customers an even better service: more personal, with more care to details.

Many of my customers are SMEs: small and medium-sized enterprises.

I worked in retail for years before I focused on just building websites. I treasure this experience and I put my self in my customers’ shoes. Understanding my customer’s needs helps me recommend workable, realistic solutions that fit their requests and solves their problems.

I think this work can be done even communicating in a simple way. Not everybody is tech-savvy and not everybody needs to be. We believe it is essential to understand each other in order to achieve our main common goal:

Well done websites, that inform and sell.

I’m a WordPress enthusiast.

WordPress is both free and priceless at the same time, it powers about 40% of internet websites… and it’s also my main tool of the trade.

Since 2017, I contribute as a volunteer to the Italian and international WordPress community, especially to the Polyglots team, whose task is to translate and localize WordPress and related projects (like themes and plugins), in order to make them available to as many people as possible in their native language.

Being active in the WordPress community is a great way to be useful and give back in an effective way. It is also a unique chance to be part of an awesome team and keep myself constantly up to date on tools, new technologies and best practices.
